Terms of Service
These terms cover use of Accounting Buddy by Calculators (“ABC”) at numbers.calculators.work, an invite-only portal operated by Calculators — The Tax People for collaborating on client books.
Invite-only access
You may use ABC only if a firm administrator or client administrator has invited your email. Signing in with Google or email/password does not create an account by itself; your email must already be on the invite or membership list.
Accounts and security
- Keep your password and device secure. Do not share sign-in links.
- If you use Google sign-in, you are also subject to Google’s terms for that sign-in method. ABC only uses Google for identity (email and name).
- Tell your firm administrator promptly if you leave the organisation or lose access to your email.
Roles and responsibilities
- Clients answer questions about bank transactions, upload bills and review reports for their own business.
- Firm accountants code, review and prepare work for approval on assigned clients.
- Firm admins manage access, assignments and partner approval for books close / filing prep.
ABC supports bookkeeping collaboration. It does not by itself file GST returns, income-tax returns or other statutory filings. Final close and filing steps wait for explicit partner approval.
Acceptable use
Use ABC only for legitimate accounting work for clients the firm serves. Do not attempt to access other clients’ data, probe the system for vulnerabilities, upload malware, scrape the service, or use it for anything unlawful under Indian law.
Data
Financial and identity data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. The firm decides how long client records are kept. You agree not to upload content you have no right to share.
Availability
We aim to keep ABC available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance or outages at hosting or authentication providers may occur.
Disclaimer
ABC is a collaboration tool. Professional judgement remains with the Chartered Accountants firm and the client. Reports and AI coding suggestions are aids; they need human review before reliance.
